Question: The institute I am taking admission to is asking me to deposit the original marksheets and certificates of 10th and 12th? If I give them – how will I participate in other cousellings?

Question: The institute I am taking admission to is to pay full fee for the first year in advance and their refund rules are vague and they will keep the full fee if I do not join that college.

You can make complain to AICTE (All India Counsil for Technical Education) against such unfair practices by errant colleges. If your complaint is found true then AICTE can take action against such colleges like withdrawing the approval / recoganition of the college.
