The University of Kalyani was established in 1960 situated distance from Kolkata is only 50 km with a campus area of over 400 acres in Kalyani town wwhich has got a three star accrediation from ‘NAAC’.It has facultries of 1.Science 2.Arts and Commerce 3.Education 4.Engg. Tech and Management 5. Law 6. Music and Fine arts. . It is well connected by road and railway, with a railway station very close to the University.
