CATE – Combined Aptitude Test for English results declared by Delhi University (DU)

CATE – Combined Aptitude Test for English results are declared today by (DU).

For the first time English Department had conducted a common entrance test for students applying for English (hons.) this year on June 17 at 12 colleges. Initially the colleges were reluctant to sign for a common entrance test. However, in the end 12 colleges agreed for the test,” said faculty of English Department.

CATE Result – 2009 List, Decending List

The results will be declared in the evening after its compilation. A meeting would be conducted by the English Department and then the results will be sent to the respective colleges as per Sumanyu Satpathy, HoD, English.

  • Kamla Nehru
  • Maharaja Agrasen
  • Ram Lal Anand (evening)
  • Satyaati (evening)
  • Shivaji
  • Shyam Lal
  • Swami Shradhanad
  • Zakir Hussain
  • Zakir Hussain (evening)

The test was held to evaluate the aptitude of students for the course. 6,700 students had appeared for 350 seats in DU colleges. Multiple choice questions on language skills, literary knowledge, grammar and vocabulary were asked in CATE.
