Swine flu deaths in India :
First swine flu death in Tamil Nadu. Swine flu claimed its first victim in Tamil Nadu on Monday with the death of four-year-old B Sanjay, who was in a critical condition in a private hospital in Chennai when he tested positive for H1N1 virus infection on Saturday.
The child’s death, took the all-India toll to seven as two more deaths were reported from Pune’s Sassoon Hospital. Baburao Mane, a 35-year-old Ayurvedic doctor, and Sanjay Bahausaheb Tilekar, a pharmacist, succumbed to swine flu in the government-run hospital in Maharashtra’s worst-affected city. Schools Have To Take Precautions by observing the following Symptoms of Swine Flu in students:

5. Fever
6. Loss of appetite
7. Aches
8. Nausea and vomiting
9. Throat irritation
10. Fatigue
11. Sneezing
12. Diarrhea
13. In people with chronic conditions, pneumonia may develop.

H1N1 Swine Flu Symptoms, Precautions, Treatment, Resistance India :
Basic things about Swine flu, its transmisison from humans to humans, prevention and treatment
Swine Flu also called H1N1 flu, swine influenza, pig flu etc is an infection by any one of several types of swine influenza virus such as H1N1, H1N2, H3N1, H3N2, and H2N3 etc.
Transmission
Influenza spreads between humans through coughing or sneezing and people touching something with the virus on it and then touching their own nose or mouth.
Swine flu cannot be spread by cooked pork products, since the virus is not transmitted through food.
Symptoms
Symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.
Swine flu in humans is most contagious during the first five days of the illness.
Prevention
Frequent washing of hands with soap and water after being out in public places and avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth after touching tabletops, telephones and other surfaces which may be affected.
Stay away from large gatherings, travelling to infected area etc.
Treatment
People with swine flu-like symptoms should stay away from work, travel and should contact a doctor immeidately.
Doctors recommend the use of Tamiflu (oseltamivir) or Relenza (zanamivir) for the treatment and/or prevention of infection with swine influenza viruses.

Total swine flu cases rise to 959 across India
The surge in swine flu cases continued on Monday with 95 fresh cases being reported from across the country taking the total number of cases to 959.
While 47 cases were reported in Pune, 22 are in Mumbai, 14 in Delhi, six in Panchgani, three in Mangalore and one each in Noida, Ajmer and Gurgaon.
All 47 cases in Pune are indigenous ones. In Mumbai, out of 22 cases, only one has a travel history of going to Austria. The rest are indigenous cases.
