JLPT 2009 – Japanese Language Proficiency Test

JLPT 2009 or Japanese Language Proficiency Test of JLPT Committee are inviting application forms for the JLP – 2009 to be held on Sunday, 6th December 2009 at Chennai, from the JLPT Test Administrative Committee, till 5.00 p.m. of 4th September 2009.

Application Cost is Rs.50/- each and Test Fee for Level 1 and 2 is Rs.500/-, Level 3 and Level 4 Rs.350/-.

Applications will be issued only on first come first served basis for institutions, organizations and individuals (one form per individual) depending on availability.

Payment can be made by Cash/ Demand Draft. the Demand Draft is to be drawn in favour of “JLPT Test Administrative committee” payable at Chennai.

Registration Period:

The registration period for the 2009 JLPT will start on Monday, August 3rd, 2009 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time and end on Friday, September 25th, 2009 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Online registration will be available on the first day of registration and paper application downloads will be available one week before the start of registration.

Important Dates:

* August 3rd, 2009 10AM PT : Start of Registration
* September 25th, 2009 5PM PT: End of Registration
* Early November, 2009: Test Vouchers and Test Site Information sheets are sent out
* December 6th, 2009: Test Day
* Mid February, 2010: Mailing Address needs to be updated
* Early March, 2010: Test Results are sent out
