South Central Railway cancelled the following passenger trains on Thursday due to derailment of a goods train on Narasaraopet – Satalur section: 571 Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar, 408 Donakonda-Guntur and 405 Secunderabad-Guntur.

Heavy rain on the Ongole-Gudur section of Vijayawada division and water flowing over the tracks at several locations have led to the South Central Railway cancelling the running of 20 passenger and 19 express trains on Monday.
An official release said that in addition, 11 long-distance services already on the line are being diverted via Guntur-Nandyal-Gooty-Renigunta route.
Special catering facilities were created for passengers in the affected trains, it was said. Also a helpline was set up at Secunderabad (040-27786139) and Vijayawada with the telephone number 0866-2576924.
