Due to Punjab Bandh by Dal Khalsa on November 3, 2009 has led to confusion among educational institutions in the city as Activists of a radical Sikh outfit ( 1984 riots ) today blocked trains and buses in Amritsar to enforce the Punjab bandh called by them.Punjab Bandh News were also published in Ajit newspaper and jagbani newspaper, jalandhar.
The activists of Dal Khalsa and some other outfits blocked the tracks, delaying the movement of many trains including the Shatabdi Express, Sachkhand Express, Paschmi Express, Super Fast, Dadar, Kathiar Express and Tata Mouri.
