Eligibility :

Age : Born between 2nd July, 1992 and 1st January,1995.

Educational Qualification
for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects
* Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Application Form: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- only.

Fee: Rs.50/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee).

How To Apply:

(a) Candidates who wish to apply Offline must apply in the Common Application form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the desginated Head Post Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix III of the Notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only). Each such Form can be used only once and only for oneexamination.

In case of any difficulty in obtaining Application Forms from the designated HPOs/POs, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned post Master or UPSC’s “FORMS SUPPLY MONITORING CELL” over Telephone No. 011-23389366/FAX No. 011-23387310.

(b) Candidates except certain categories mentioned in para 5(c) can also apply Online using the link http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Detailed instructions for filling up onlineapplications are available on the above mentioned website.

Candidates are advised to read carefully the “Instructions for filling up the Offline Application Form” given in Appendix-II (A) and Instructions for OnlineApplications given in Appendix II (B) of this notice

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS :

(a) Through Offline:

All offline applications must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi – 110069″ either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 19th April 2010.

Candidates should note that applications will be received by hand, only one at a time, at the designated counter(s) and not in bulk, till 5 PM only.

However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote localities specified in para 6 of this Notice the last date for receipt of application by Post/Speed Post only (not by Hand or by Courier) is 26th April 2010.

(b) Through Online:

The online Applications can be filled upto 12th April 2010 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled.

    respected sir,
    i had applied for the NDA II 2010 this year . My DOB is 17/2/1992. Now this wud be my first attempt and still i do not fit into the age limit ie DOB not before 2/7/1992(the difference is only a couple of months) .Being from a defence background I am quite interested to choose this as my career path.Right now i am doing my 2nd year B.tech marine engineering from indian maritime university chennai. By the time i finish my graduation i have spent bout 10 lakhs(min in india)for the course. SO CDS may not be an option for, after spending this much already ( i ve taken a loan on this).i ve read n some forums tat i can still apply for next years NDA. Is it true. what r my option ryte now . please enlighten on this.
