WALK IN INTERVIEW  on 31.01.2011

1.Name of the Project : Snout Monitoring, Mapping, Mass and Energy Balance and Assessment of Biophysical Environment of Nardu Glacier, Baspa Basin, District Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh (PI JC Rana)

Post : Research Associate-I – 2 Posts

• Essential Qualification : Ph.D.in Botany /Horticulture / Agriculture OR M.Sc. with three years experience in the relevant field
• Desirable qualification : Knowledge of temperate flora and working experience in the hill areas
• Likely to be terminated : December, 2013
• Emoluments per month : Rs. 22,000/- consolidated plus 10% HRA

2.Name of the Project : Harmonizing biodiversity conservation and agricultural intensification through integration of plant, animal and fish genetic resources for livelihood security in fragile ecosystem (PI JC Rana)

Post: SRF (Temporarily may be posted at Chamba)

• Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Botany / Agriculture / Horticulture
• Desirable qualification : Working experience in hill crops particularly in Chamba District of  HP)
• Likely to be terminated : March, 2013
• Emoluments per month : Rs. 16,000/- consolidated for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18,000/- for 3rd year plus 10% HRA

3.Name of the Project : Impact of climate change on plant species composition: analyzing with a few typical plant species in Shimla and Kinnaur Districts of HP (PI- JC Rana)

Post: JRF

• Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Botany /Horticulture / Agriculture
• Desirable qualification : Knowledge of temperate flora and working experience in the hill areasLikely to be terminated : October, 2012
• Emoluments per month : Rs. 12,000/- consolidated for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 14,000/- for 3rd year plus 10% HRA

No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
