Exam notification for NDA-I Exam 2012 has been released by UPSC for admission to NDA (National Defence Academy) & NA (Naval Academy). Interested and eligible candidates will get the UPSC NDA Application Form Download link, important dates, eligibility criteria, part 1, aprt 2 application forms.

Online submission of form has also began and the last date for  submission of NDA 2012 application form is 30th January 2012.

Admissions to 2 defence institutes:

1. NDA: In the Army/Air Force/ Navy wings.
2. NA: In the executive branch of Navy.

Important dates for NDA-I 2012:

• Date of notification: 31st December, 2012.
• Last date of submission of  NDA-I 2012 application form: 30th January 2012
• Date of NDA-I 2012 exam: 15th April, 2012.
• Likely date of publication of NDA-I 2012 result: July, 2012.
• Date of  SSB interview subsequent to NDA exam: September – October, 2012.

NDA-II 2012 Exam dates & Schedule:

• Date of notification & Form for NDA-II 2012 Exam : 05.05.2012.
• Last date of submission of  NDA-II 2012 form: 04.06.2012 (MONDAY)
• Date of NDA-II 2012 exam: 19.08.2012 (SUNDAY)

Eligibility for NDA Exam:

• Age eligibility for NDA exam:
• Minimum: 16, M 19 years (born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996)
• Also only MALE, Unmarried candidates are allowed to appear in NDA exam.

Academic eligibility for NDA exam:

Pass Class-XII or equivalent examination for Army wings of NDA  (Physics & Maths in Class-XII is not a must.)

For applying to the Air Force/Navy wings of NDA and for applying to Naval Academy, you must have studied Physics & Maths in your Class-XII.

Currently studying in Class-XII, can also appear in the exam, provided you can provide the proof passing the exam by 5th December, 2012.

Minimum physical standard as required by UPSC.

Last date for receipt of appliactions:

The Online Applications can be filled up to 30th January 2012 till 11.59 PM
after which the link will be disabled.

Penalty for wrong answers:

Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

Facilitation counter for guidance of candidates:

In case of any guidance/information/clarification regarding their applications, candidature etc. candidates can contact UPSC’s Facilitation Counter near Gate ‘C’ of its campus in person or over Telephone No.011-23385271/011-23381125/011-23098543 on working days between 10.00 hrs. and 17.00 hrs.

Option for NDA 2012 Online Form Part 1, Part 2 Registration process has various pages for Personal Information, Examination Centre, preferences for Army Navy Air Force and Naval Academy, Registration ID, Fee Payment, etc.

Admit Card for NDA-I 2012 exam:

UPSC 3 options for issuing NDA-I 2012 written exam admit card/ call letter / hall ticket.

1. Either be sent the admit card for written exam in your postal address
2. Available on the internet – to download it with your registration number
3. Sent to your e-mail id
