Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) 2013 admissions through NEET UG, PG

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) for admissions to MBBS colleges, from the academic year 2013 onwards AFMC combined with National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam will be held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidate have to appear NEET for both at Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) level.

Lt Gen H Kakaria, director general, AFMC, made the stated that AFMS was a part of NEET-UG and NEET-PG examination system and also there is no separate entrance test for admissions to AFMC.

NEET exam will be held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from 2013 onwards, the students will have to mark their preference for admission to AFMC. MBBS course will begin in August and admissions will be done online and no separate test for admissions to AFMC.

Merit criteria would be decided by NEET-UG and NEET-PG entrance tests. AFMC will only take the students after conducting various tests.
