Eligibility:

Minimum age limit: 18 years as on 1 December 2011.
Maximum age limit: 28 years as on 1 December 2011.

SC/ST categories will get relaxation of atleast 5 yeears in the age criteria.
OBC category will get relaxation of minimum 3 years in the upper age limit. Candidates should be born between 30 November 1983 and 1 December 1993.

Educational Qualification (as on 01.12.2011):

Minimum 12th Standard (10 + 2) pass or equivalent qualification with a minimum of aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS). PWD(OBC) & XS(OBC) candidates applying under Special Recruitment Drive are required to have minimum of 60% marks in 12th standard or in equivalent qualification.

Emoluments: The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs. 14,177/- per month for Graduates inclusive of D.A. and other allowances at the current rate. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.

Selection Process:

All eligible candidates should apply online before the last date for registration of application. Final selection of candidates will be made depends on the Written examination followed by a personal interview test. Both written test and interview test, will be taken on the same date 18 March 2012.

Following are the SBI PO Recruitment 2011 Notification for 1000 Probationary Officer banking jobs:
Probationary Officers – 1000 (SC-150 ,ST-75, OBC-270 ,Gen-505 )

Qualification – Graduation in any discipline from a recognised College / University

PAY SCALE: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years. They will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 16,900/- in the scale of Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/ 2 -20100-800/7-25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I. They will also be eligible for D.A., H.R.A. & C.C.A. as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly emoluments of Probationary Officers, including D.A., H.R.A. and C.C.A., are approximately Rs. 27,800/- at Metropolitan centres.
