duplicate Admit Card will not granted/ entertained.

Essential Qualififcation:
(i)The Candidates should be possessed Degree of Bachelor of Laws of any University
incorporated by Law in India or a Degree of Bachelor of Laws of Punjab
University (undivided), the Dacca University, The Tribhuwan University, Nepal,
The Sind University or of the Rangoon or Mandalay University in Burma, or
should be a Barrister of England or Ireland or member of the Faculty of
Advocates of Scotland.
(ii) Punjabi upto Matric or its equivalent Standard.
(iii) Candidates appearing in the final year/semester examination of the degree of
Bachelor of Law may appear in this examination subject to the condition that they
must possess the degree of Bachelor of Law as on 30.9.2011.
The expression ” Degree of Bachelor of Laws” means a degree entitling a
candidate to be enrolled as an advocate under the Advocate Act, 1961, and the rules made there under.

No Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will be conducted from 2011

Application Form:

• Candidates must apply in the Common application form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head post Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix-III of the Notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty Only). Each such Form can be used only once and only for one examination.
• In case of any difficulty in Application Forms from the designated HPOs/POs, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned post Master or UPSC’s “FORMS SUPPLY MONITORING CELL” over Telephone No. 011-23389366/FAX No. 011-23387310.

Candidates are advised to read carefully the “Instructions for filling up the Application form”given in Appendix-II of this Notice.

Eligibility:
Age Limit for IFS EXAM: Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years on 1st July 2010.

Educational Qualifications :
Bachelors degree of a recognized University with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Botony, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology or a Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• The Online Application submission ( www.upsc.gov.in) for Indian Forest service Examination 2010 from 27th February 2010 to 15th March 2010.
• UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination 2010 Offline application – apply in the common application form devised by the commission for its exams which can be purchased from designated head post offices against cash payment of Rs.20/-
• Fee for UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination 2010 : Rs. 100/- through Central recruitment Fee Stamp Only.
