• Candidates must apply in the Common application form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head post Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix-III of the Notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty Only). Basic Information regarding Exam :
Applications are invited by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India, for the post of Security Assistant (General) in the Intelligence Bureau.

Age limit
18 to 27 years of age. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST; also relaxable for Ex-Servicemen and Central Government servants according to Govt orders in force.

Minimum Educational Qualification
Matriculation or equivalent. Candidates whose results have not been declared need not apply. They will be t:equired to produce the original certificate when called for the Interview.

Note: In view of the nature of the duties involved Physically Handicapped persons cannot be considered for the post.
