How to Apply:

Steps for applying to SNAP:
1) Register for SNAP through SNAP website www.snaptest.org
2) Pay Rs. 1,500/- to SNAP towards their online registration fees and common Prospectus.

Steps for applying to SIIB:
1) Register online for SIIB through SIIB website www.siib.ac.in
(Candidates are not required to forward printed application form to SIIB).
2) Pay Rs. 1,000/- towards Registration fees to SIIB by way of: -

a.) Cash
1) Against cash payment of Rs.1000/- at SIIB Office.
2) Through AXIS Bank: Against cash payment of Rs. 1,000 at AXIS Bank Challan available on SIIB website www.siib.ac.in. After payment please send the institute copy of challan to SIIB to enable us to authenticate your payment.

b.) DD By sending a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.1000 / – drawn in favor of “Director, Symbiosis Institute of International Business” payable at Pune.Please mention your NAME and SNAP ID behind the DD or when paying cash at SIIB / AXIS Bank.

c.) Online Payment
Candidates can pay registration fees online through SIIB website, www.siib.ac.in
Please note:
Registration Fees for SIIB is Rs. 1,000/- which allows a candidate to select any one of the offered programes. For additional programme/s the candidate is required to pay additional Rs. 1,000/- for each selected programme of SIIB.

Important:

• Candidates are required to register separately for SNAP and SIIB.
• Please note that merely registering online for SIIB will not be considered. Payment towards SIIB registration is mandatory.
• SIIB registration process is complete only after receipt of registration fees at SIIB (Cash at SIIB/AXIS Bank or DD or Online).
• The receipt of registration fees will be confirmed to candidates through e-mail (through student’s home page of SIIB online registration).
• All supporting documents (caste certificate / work ex. certificate) to be submitted at the time of GD/PI (if short-listed). Please note that false claims will result in automatic disqualification.

This incident may open pandora’s box as there are many such institutions all over India and directors as well as trustees of such institutes are feeling the heat.

According to reports AICTE officials are bribed and they have helped Balasubramanian secure the AICTE approval despite lacunas. IN fact CBI has done a on site inspection of the society’s academic complex at Tathawade on the Katraj-Dehu road expressway bypass and found the claims made by institute totally out of requirement. The claims were mainly related to infrastructure, constructed area and number of students.

AICTE’s approval for four institutions Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB), Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM), Balaji Institute of Telecom Management (BITM) and Balaji Institute of Management and HRD (BIMHRD) has been sought on false claims.

A Balasubramanian has been sent to judicial remand.

What is expected from this incident that many students who are victims of such colleges are expected to raise their voice against the institutes and send in details of irregularities to AICTE or CBI.

For details and instructions please visit NITIE’s Official website: www.nitie.edu Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- in case of SC/ST/PD candidates) and applicable bank charges can be paid in the form of challan (downloadable from NITIE website) in any branch of State Bank of India. Hard copy of the filled-in On-line Application duly signed by the candidate should be sent to the address given below along with Institute’s copy of the challan and copies of the relevant certificates as mentioned in the Instructions.
